Unidentified gunmen attacked a military regiments of the15 Brigade, of the twelfth Iraqi army south of Kirkuk, in Northern Iraq.A security source said that a number of mortar shells fell on Monday 5, May on oneof the battalions of the 15th Brigade, of Tigris Operations Command near the Ebadavillage 45 km south of Kirkuk, which led to material damaging without casualties,Iraqi News Agency (NINA) reported.An employee in the Iraqi Ministry of Industry was killed by gunmen in easternBaghdad on Monday 5. May.A police source said that the gunmen fired from weapons with silencers on theemployee’s personal car as it passed on Muhammad al-Qasim highway of easternBaghdad.Meanwhile, an armed group belonging to the Ansar al-Sunna, attacked the home ofa leader in the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant ISIS in the Abbasi district west ofKirkuk.A security source said the gunmen belonged to the Ansar al-Sunna attacked thehome of Kamis Rmayd al-Mafraji one of the senior leaders of ISIS in the Husseiniyavillage of Abbasi district west of Kirkuk without casualties.The security source said that the continued fighting between al-Qaeda and Ansaral-Qaeda made al-Qaeda to leave their positions in the Riyadh area west of Kirkukand rush towards Hamrin Mountains or on the outskirts of Zab west of Kirkuk.
