Large numbers of Iraqi civilians push to be evacuated from Mosul

Iraqi civilians are seen on their way fleeing from Mosul

Iraqi government forces continued its push in western Mosul on Tuesday and large numbers of civilians fled from the battle areas. Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, announced the start of an offensive on Feb. 19 to drive extremist militants out of the western side of Mosul.
