Joint Iraqi forces on Wednesday liberated Azzawya village, southern Mosul, from Daesh terrorists.
International coalition jets shelled a Daesh post in western al Anbar governorate, leaving eight terrorists dead and 15 others wounded.
In Mosul, Peshmerga forces killed the terrorist Ammar Huweidi, known as Daesh slaughterer, who was responsible for killing hundreds of people.
On Monday, the Iraqi prime minister and commander in chief of the armed forces, announced the start of the operation aiming to retake Mosul, the second largest city in Iraq.
