The joint Iraqi forces controlled five new villages as well as the "Agriculture Faculty" region and besieged Daesh terrorist group in Hammam al Alil area in the northern Iraqi province Nineveh.
In press statements on Saturday, the Commander of “We are coming Nineveh" Operations Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rasheed Jarallah said that the federal police and squad 15 managed to free five villages from the control of Daesh and raised the Iraqi flag on them.
The troops killed also leader in the terrorist organization named Ammar Saleh Abu Baker.
Meanwhile, Chief Financial Officer at the US Embassy here John Sullivan said that there is progress in the cooperation between Baghdad and Washington to halt the foreign currency transactions to areas controlled by Daesh.
