Iraqi forces managed Monday to liberate Nasr village in Nineveh from the control of Daesh terrorist group.

The joint forces freed the village, killed dozens of Daesh's gunmen and expelled the extremists during a military operation, according to security and local sources.

Meanwhile, Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al Obeidi discussed with the US Ambassador here Stuart Jones the latest developments of the war against Daesh, said the Iraqi Defense Ministry.
