Iraqi forces foiled on Friday a terror attack in which they killed a suicide bomber before blowing himself up at a security checkpoint north Baghdad, the Baghdad Operations Command spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said.

In statements, Maan asserted that no casualties were reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, Iraqi forces killed 15 terrorists and destroyed an armored vehicle, another vehicle and a booby-trapped bulldozer in Anbar province.

The forces also defused 20 bombs and 31 booby-trapped houses in Anbar.
