Iraqi army and anti-terror forces managed to defuse hundreds of bombs planted by Daesh terrorists after fleeing a governmental complex area in central Ramadi, a security source said.

The forces started early Monday an operation to flush out Daesh elements from their last stronghold in Ramadi, the source said.

Over 300 bombs were defused in the governmental complex and its surrounding areas, the source said.

The international coalition against Daesh has said that thanks to the efforts of the Iraqi army and air force Ramadi city was clawed back.
