Iraqi army repels Daesh attack in Anbar

The Iraqi army, supported by US-led coalition fighter jets, repelled Saturday an attack by the terrorist Daesh group against a military camp northern Anbar Governorate's city of Ramadi.

Three car bombs, driven by suicide bombers, were destroyed, operation commander in Anbar Ismail al Mahallawy said, adding the Iraqi army destroyed two cars, while the US-led coalition fighter jets hit the third.

Ten Daesh militants were killed in clashes between the terrorist group and the army.

In the meantime, 32 Daesh militants were killed after a car bomb went off inside a workshop for making bomb-laden vehicles in the city of Falluja in Anbar, security sources said.
