Iraqi and US-led warplanes conducted 57 airstrikes against Daesh posts in several districts within the last 24 hours, an Iraqi military statement said Wednesday.

The airstrikes targeted Daesh sites in five districts in Al Anbar, Nineveh and Saladin provinces, the statement added.

According to the statement, scores of terrorists were killed during the operation.

Several vehicles belonged to terrorists and large quantities of weapons and ammunition depots were destroyed in the raids, the statement added.
