Four people were killed in an explosion which occurred south of the Iraqi capital, said a security source Thursday. Police told KUNA that the explosion at Al-Latifia town, southern Baghdad, also resulted in the injury of five people. Meanwhile, acts of unrest resumed in a number of cities in Anbar province. According to security sources, the clashes pitted the Iraqi Army and police against Al-Qaeda elements in the governorate. Anbar province was recently a site for anti-government protests.
