Dozens killed, injured in truck bombing in Iraq

 At least 35 people were killed and scores injured when a booby-trapped truck went off at a checkpoint outside the city of Hilla south of Baghdad, security sources said on Sunday.

Many cars were burned due to explosion. 

Daesh has claimed its responsibility for the attack, the sources added.

Ambulances rushed to the scene and moved the dead to the forensic department and the wounded to hospitals, according to the sources.

Also, Iraqi security forces hurried to the bombing site and closed off the area, the sources asserted
