The death toll from two blasts in Sadr city of Baghdad has risen to 70 people.

More than 40 others were injured in the two explosions.

The first attack was carried out by an explosive charge while the second one was by a suicide bomber who blew himself up in the scene. 

The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the two bombings.
