A number of civilians were injured on Monday when a booby-trapped car exploded near a popular market in Sadr City district in northeastern Baghdad, spokesman for Baghdad Operations Command Saad Maan said.

Baghdad is witnessing repeated suicide attacks, which are claimed by the terrorist Daesh group.
