A security source said that unknown gunmen attacked with automatic weapons candidate for the coalition of Kirkuk Arabs, head of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Education at the University of Kirkuk, wounding him critically outside his home in al- Wasti district.
The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that al-Obeidi was the first candidate in the list of the coalition of Kirkuk Arabs in the parliamentary elections which has one seat in the Parliament obtained by the current MP / Khalid al-Mafraji.
