A series of car bomb attacks targeted shops, popular restaurants and a prison in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Saturday, Iraqi police said on Saturday. A police source told KUNA that the car bombs exploded in Al-Nahda, Al-Amereeya, and Al-Adel, while gunmen attacked a shopping mall in Al-Mansour district. The source pointed out that a car bomb exploded in Al-Topaji area at a time when gunmen attacked a prison in the same area, noting that police will announce later the final death toll and injuries as a result of these attacks.
