The death toll of two explosions at an election rally in Baghdad Friday has risen to 28 with 100 people injured, an Interior Ministry officer said."A cowardly terrorist attack targetted an election rally" in northeast of Baghdad, Brigadier Saad Maan said in a statement to the press.He said the attacks by a booby-trapped car and a suicide attack killed 28 people and injured scores others.A booby-trapped car was detonated in a parking lot in which an election campaign for pro-State of Law Coalition of Al-Maliki was held, followed by a blast caused by a suicide attacker.Earlier in the day, Two civilians were killed and five injured in a booby-trapped car blast near a market in northern Baghdad, while a soldier was killed and four wounded in an explosion in Tarmiya district.
