Two civilians were killed while five others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded on Monday at Gamila district, east of Baghdad.

In statements, Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Saad Maan said that a number of cars and shops were also destroyed in the blast.

Baghdad is witnessing repeated suicide attacks, which are claimed by the terrorist Daesh group.
