Baghdad blasts

Six people on Thursday were killed and 42 others injured in two separate suicide attacks targeting a security facility and an army checkpoint, a police source said.
A suicide bombing took place in western Samraa City to the south of Takrit, leaving three people killed and 40 others, mostly paramilitary forces, wounded, the source told KUNA.
Another bomb car was detonated by a bomber at a checkpoint in south Baghdad, claiming the lives of three soldiers and injury of two others, the source added.
