Four people were killed and 23 others injured today in a suicide car bomb explosion in southern Salaheddin province, north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
Security sources said a car bomb driver blew himself up in a fruit and vegetable market in the area of Al-Dujail killing four people and injuring 23 others.
Meanwhile, Spokesman of Baghdad Operations Command Brigadier Saad Maan announced today that a security force from the 17th division killed five terrorists in the province of Babylon.
The Iraqi army also bombed groupings of the so-called Daash, or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), in Hadhitha district in Anbar province, west of the country, killing eight members of the organization.
