Some 38 suspected Daesh terrorists were killed in a security operation by Iraqi forces backed warplanes in Anbar area and west of Baghdad.

A statement issued by the war media cell of the joint operation said a vehicle carrying a missile launcher and other military vehicles were destroyed in the operation.

The operation came days after the Iraqi army killed 54 militants of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group during its ongoing anti-terror operations in areas south of Fallujah in the restive province of Anbar.
