Two Iraqi policemen were wounded in a bomb blast in southern Baghdad.

A roadside bomb planted near al Madaen Police Station went off earlier Tuesday as a patrol was passing by, a security source said.

Police cordoned off the site and the wounded policemen were moved to hospital, the source said.
