A soldier was killed on Tuesday and a civilian was injured when a suicide bomber blew up an explosive belt he was wearing near an army checkpoint in western Ramadi.
The blast took place seven kilometers away from the Saytara checkpoint in western Ramadi, Iraqi Interior Ministry Spokesman Sa'd Ma'n said in press statements.
On Monday, Daesh terrorist group detonated six explosive charges and five booby-trapped cars in various parts of Baghdad, leaving behind scores of people dead and injured.
