11 people killed in 2 car explosions in Baghdad

Eleven people were killed and many others injured in dual car bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Saturday, a police source said.
A booby-trapped car was detonated near a security checkpoint southern Baghdad killing eight persons and wounding 42 others, said the source.
He told KUNA that three more people were killed and nine injured when another booby-trapped vehicle exploded in Palestine St. eastern Baghdad.
