car bomb blast in Benghazi

Two soldiers of the Libyan special forces were killed Sunday, while some others including commander of the troops Mahmoud al Wirfalli were wounded in a car explosion, said head of the media office of the troops Riyad el Shehby .

The car blast targeted a security checkpoint when a military convoy was passing by heading to the western axis of Benghazi.

The explosion of the booby-trapped vehicle resulted in the killing of two soldiers and the injuring of others, el Shehby said in statements to Libyan al Wasat electronic gate.
