The Libyan army said Wednesday that it took control over a new strategic site after expelling Daesh elements and militias that support them in Benghazi.

The Armed Forces and supporting troops are now in full control of the air defense HQ, a statement by the military command said.

The al Pepsi Street was has also been liberated, the statement said.
