A car bomb detonated outside a technical school on a military base in Benghazi, Libya, Monday, killing at least 10 people and wounding 23, an official said. CNN reported a military source told Libya's state news agency the attack occurred as new graduates were leaving the school. The U.S. broadcaster said Libyan Health Ministry spokesman Ammar Mohammed provided the casualty toll during an appearance on Libyan television. CNN said no one had taken responsibility for the violence that has erupted in the city in the past year or so, though many government officials and other Libyans attribute it to Islamist extremist groups.
