Blast hits main water reservoir in Libya's Sirte

A car bomb exploded near the main reservoir that supplies the Libyan city of Harawa, western Sirte, with water needed for drinking and irrigation.

According to a local source, the terrorist attack was carried out by Daesh militants.

The blast caused damage to the reservoir and water leaked out of it , the source noted.

The terrorists have made sand barriers four-kilometers away from Harawa to block military troops from reaching the city, the source said.
