An explosion occurred on Thursday at the passengers' hall of Libya's Bani Walid Airport, its director said.

An explosive bag went off, causing material damage at the passengers' hall of Bani Walid Airport, Essa Amtabikh said in statements.

No casualties were resulted from the blast, he added, without giving further details.
