At least five Libyan soldiers were killed and seven injured during fierce clashes between Daesh militants and Libyan armed forces tasked with protecting oil fields in the eastern parts of the North African countries.

Sporadic clashes continued in the eastern areas surrounding oil fields, 50 kilometers away from Marada municipality.
