A car exploded on Saturday in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi killing five people, including the head of an anti-corruption agency, Al Arabiya news channel reported without giving further details.

Meanwhile, a Libyan security official said that authorities had found 10 bodies of with bullets and torture signs, seemingly in a Benghazi district.

Benghazi has been a scene of a military operation led by commander Khalifa Haftar against extremists and militants.
