Three explosions rocked Tripoli yesterday evening as a cloud of black smoke and flames was seen in Abu Salim area.

Abu Salim area is the base of an armed group known as "Gnawa militia'', according to local sources. 

There is conflicting information about the cause of the explosion. Several sources said that the cause of the explosion was behind the blast of a booby-trapped car while other sources said that a rocket attack has caused the blasts.
