Three people died, including two members of Libyan special forces, after a car bomb exploded in Benghazi, officials said. A spokesman for the Benghazi Joint Security Room, Ibrahim al-Shara, said two of the dead were identified as special forces members Waleed Jumaa al-Agar and Muftah al-Shukri. The third body was not identified, the Libya Herald reported Wednesday. A source at al-Jala Hospital told the newspaper the extensive burns on the body made it impossible to identify. The blast was caused by a remotely detonated explosive device around 7 p.m. local time Tuesday on Khaleej Street, the newspaper said.
