Nine Pakistani policemen were killed and eight others wounded after masked gunmen intruded into a building

Nine Pakistani policemen were killed and eight others wounded after masked gunmen intruded into a building whereas the victims were asleep in Lahore city in east Pakistan this morning.
Security sources stated that masked gunmen on three motorbikes stormed into the house at about 6:00 am local time and opened fire which resulted in killing nine policemen including instructors in the Punjab Prisons Academy.
The sources said that the building included thirty-five policemen and prison guards who were asleep, most of whom came from the northwestern Pakistan's disorderly region to partake in a training course in Lahore.
The attackers fled away meanwhile nobody claimed responsibility for the attack. This is the second attack mounted against security forces in the Punjab province after gunmen had killed six soldiers and a policeman last Monday in an army campsite in east Pakistan some 100 kilometers north of Lahore for which the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility.
