Filmmaker Martin Scorsese is to be presented with the Cinematic Imagery Award by the Art Directors Guild at a ceremony in Los Angeles, organizers said. The "Wolf of Wall Street" director will be honored at the 18th annual Art Directors Guild's Excellence in Production Design Awards Feb. 8 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. The announcement was made Thursday by ADG Council Chairman John Shaffner and awards producers Raf Lydon and Dave Blass. "The ADG has wanted Scorsese to accept this deserving honor since the earliest days of its inception," Shaffner said in a statement. "We are beyond delighted that his schedule finally now allows him time to receive it! The ADG has always considered his hands-on pursuit of excellence of production design to equal all of the fine craftsmanship that goes into every aspect of all Martin Scorsese films." Scorsese's films include "Taxi Driver," "Raging Bull," "Mean Streets," "Goodfellas," "Casino," "Gangs of New York," "The Aviator," "The Departed," "Hugo," and "Shutter Island."
