Los Angeles - UPI
Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow paid tribute to Richard Attenborough Monday on Twitter.
The 37-year-old director posted a picture, presumably from the set of the new movie, of a statue of Attenborough as John Hammond. The actor portrayed the character in the original Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997).
Hammond is the founder and CEO of InGen, the bioengineering company that created the theme park and cloned the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar. Attenborough, who was well-known for the role, died at age 90 on Sunday.
