US singer Jewel said Monday one of her songs is being turned into a picture book and CD dedicated to her infant son. Paula Wiseman Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster Children\'s Publishing, is to publish \"That\'s What I\'d Do,\" featuring illustrations by artist Amy June Bates, Sept. 18. Jewel\'s first picture book was inspired by the song she wrote with Patrick Davis, which appeared on the bonus edition of the children\'s music album \"The Merry Goes Round.\" \"I love to sing to my son, Kase, and I hope my first children\'s book, \'That\'s What I\'d Do,\' will be shared with new babies in the same way,\" Jewel said in a statement Monday. \"All children need the joy of music in their lives.\" \"Jewel\'s tender and imaginative lyrics make a book that will please new parents and children time and time again,\" said Paula Wiseman, vice president and publisher of Paula Wiseman Books. \"We are pleased to launch Jewel\'s children\'s books here at Simon & Schuster.\" Jewel is married to pro rodeo cowboy Ty Murray, who also competed on \"Dancing with the Stars.\" Their son was born last July.
