Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris has continued the trend of skewering John Travolta for butchering Idina Menzel's name when he introduced her at last year's ceremony.
"Benedict Cumberbatch. It's not only the most awesome name in show business, it's also the sound you get when you ask John Travolta to announce Ben Affleck," Harris joked during the ABC telecast Sunday night. "Our next presenter has been on the receiving end of that eloquence. Please welcome Idina Menzel."
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage my very dear friend -- Glom Gazingo," Menzel said, hugging Travolta as he joined her.
"I deserved that," Travolta admitted. "You, my darling, my beautiful, my wickedly talented Idina Menzel. ... Is that right?"
"You got it. Yay! You did it!" Menzel teased him. "It's not like [the wrong name's] going to follow me around the rest of my life, right?"
"Tell me about it," Travolta played along. "So, the nominees for Best Original Song are..."
"You want me to do it?" Menzel said, offering to read the names for him to which he nodded in agreement.
The pair then presented the Oscar to Common and John Legend for their civil-rights anthem "Glory" from the Selma soundtrack.
