Gallagher\'s publicist said the comedian suffered a heart attack, his second this month, and is hospitalized in Sedona, Ariz. The 65-year-old performer, whose real name is Leo Anthony Gallagher Jr., suffered the heart attack Sunday. \"It was fairly mild,\" Christine Scherrer told The Hollywood Reporter. Scherrer said the minor attack may have been related to a more serious one he suffered March 14, shortly before he was to perform in a Texas nightclub. The comedian spent a few days in a medically induced coma, then was taken out of it and released last week. He announced in a recent radio interview his plans to retire from performing his physically demanding live stage shows, which frequently include the use of over-sized props. One of his signature stunts is smashing watermelons with a giant mallet. \"I decided that this is enough. I have 32 years of live performing, and so I\'m looking for just some little stuff, like retirement things, I\'d like to show up at maybe company parties,\" Gallagher said on \"Over Breakfast with Scott Spears\" on 97.5FM WDCM radio in Marion, Ohio last Thursday. He also suffered a minor heart attack a year ago onstage in Minnesota.
