Gallagher\'s manager says the prop comic is in an induced coma so he can recover from the effects of a heart attack this week. The 65-year-old comedian, whose full name is Leo Anthony Gallagher Jr., collapsed Wednesday night, shortly before he was to perform at Hat Tricks in Lewisville, Texas. His manager, Christine Scherrer, told The Huffington Post he is now in an induced coma. Scherrer said Gallagher is surrounded by family members and his doctors are optimistic about his recovery. The Post said Gallagher\'s weekend shows have been rescheduled, but dates after that have not been canceled or postponed. The comedian also suffered a heart attack last year while performing at Whiskey Bone\'s Roadhouse in Rochester, Minn. Gallagher is known for his outrageous stunts on stage, such as smashing watermelons and other items with a sledgehammer.
