US cable network Discovery says it has halted production on all projects featuring \"Man vs. Wild\" star Bear Grylls due to a contract dispute. \"Due to a continuing contractual dispute with Bear Grylls, Discovery has terminated all current productions with him,\" a network representative told The Hollywood Reporter, without specifying what the issues are. Sources close to the situation told the entertainment industry trade newspaper the network has been unable to get Grylls to participate in two unannounced projects for which he was contracted. The 37-year-old British extreme outdoorsman and author confirmed Tuesday he would no longer be working for Discovery. \"Super proud of my team and all they\'ve built with ManVsWild. Looking forward to the next set of Adventures!!\" Grylls, who also is a popular author, said via Twitter. \"Thank you fans for your support!! Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. #TEAMBG.\" The survival show \"Man vs. Wild\" ran for seven seasons on Discovery starting in 2006. Grylls\' show \"Worst-Case Scenario\" began airing on the network in 2010.
