Amy Schumer left her waiter at a New York restaurant a $500 tip for a $49 order.

The New York Post reported the comedy star's recent generosity at Peter's Clam Bar on Long Island.

A source told the newspaper the funny lady got into an "engaging, animated conversation with her server, Ryan" during which he mentioned he is "a college student working two jobs to fund his education."

Schumer, 34, is the star of TV's Inside Amy Schumer and will soon be seen on the big screen in Trainwreck.
