Lebanese Tv presenter Nishan\'s show “Ana Wel Asal” (The Honey and I) brings out the truth out of its guests every time it\'s on. Renowned Syrian actor Abed Fahd was one of Nishan\'s recent guests on the show, where he expressed just how much he\'s against Turkish dramas in the Arab world, and hates the way Arab audiences are so addicted to them. Turkish dramas have become one the most-watched and popular TV hits in the Arab world for many years now. Audiences love to watch them for the different flavor and creative storylines they bring to the scene. Abed told Nishan that he feels Syrian actors made a grave decision by agreeing to dub those dramas into Arabic, as they\'ve in turn affected the production of Syrian dramas. Not surprisingly, Abed said that he fully supports Al Nahar TV\'s decision to boycott all Turkish dramas. The channel made the decision not to air any Turkish series due to the current Egyptian-Turkish political crisis. The unimpressed actor added that he feels that Turkish works have stolen the spotlight away from Syrian actors, and that it\'s his right to share that spotlight. Abed clarified that Arab actors were forced into dubbing Turkish soaps due to the unstable political conditions in the Arab world. Abed\'s final attack was aimed at the length each series runs for. He said that 90+ episodes is over the top, and can be easily turned into a film, rather than have people waste their time on watching each series for such a long period of time.
