Destroyed: A crowd gathers to inspect the downed U.S. F-15 fighter bomber

A US military aircraft crashed on Wednesday in a field near Lincolnshire, UK's authorities said.
Lincolnshire's security said, in remarks to BBC, that there were no casualties and aircraft's pilot escaped the crash with very minor injuries.
Witnesses saw the F-15 come down in a field off Broad Gate, Weston Hills, near Spalding at about 15:30 BST, according to BBC.
The jet, the US Air Force said, was from the 48th Fighter Wing based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, southeast of UK, adding that the jet had crashed during a combat training exercise.
