National Social Security Fund's employees observed today a sit-in at Riyad Solh Square, in protest at the 2017 state budget which they say could destabilize the finances of the institution, National News Agency correspondent reported on Tuesday. 
NSSF workers have voiced rejection of articles 68 and 54 of the state budget, which would exempt the government and business owners of their dues to the NSSF
Their mobilization, titled "Protecting Social Security," comes simultaneously with a session for the Finance and Budget House committee.
