Israeli occupation authorities today partially opened the Karm Abu Salim commercial crossing with Gaza Strip to allow the entry of dozens of trucks laden with aid materials and goods in addition to the pumping of limited amounts of cooking gas and industrial diesel needed to run the power generation station. Chairman of the Coordination Committee Raed Fattouh said that the occupation authorities will allow the entry of between 250-260 trucks laden with aid materials in addition to goods for both the commercial and agricultural sectors. He pointed out that among the trucks, 22 trucks will be loaded with cement and iron building in favor of projects and Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). He added that limited volumes of cooking gas will be pumped. Israeli is clamping for nearly five years siege on the Gaza Strip, controlling the quantity of goods that enter it and banning the entry of raw and construction materials.
