Israeli authorities on Wednesday announced the Kerem Abu Salem crossing on the Gaza border would close until Sunday because of a Jewish holiday. The southern crossing is sole entry point for goods into the Gaza Strip since Israel closed all other terminals. The Rafah crossing on Gaza\'\'s border with Egypt is not equipped for the transfer of goods. On Wednesday, Israel allowed 264 truckloads of goods to enter the Gaza Strip via Kerem Shalom, Palestinian (Ma\'\'an) news agency reported. Gaza is home to more than 1.6 million people, most of whom are refugees.
