quake jolts north Japan

A 6.1-magnitude quake jolted off Aomori prefecture in northern Japan at around 11: 36 local time on Saturday, according to Japan's Meteorological Agency.
The tremor was registered at 4 level in Japan seismic scale of 7 in parts of the prefecture and adjacent Iwate Prefecture.
The epicenter was initially detected at 41.0 degree of north latitude and 143.2 degree of east longitude, with a depth of 10 km.
No tsunami warnings were triggered and no immediate reports of injuries and damage.
