In Atlanta, 14 protesters have been arrested during protests at five Chase banks, ajc.com website reports, citing police sources. Six were detained at the Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard branch in the west of the city, and another eight at a branch off Moreland Avenue, Mekka Parish. The protesters were mostly aged between 19 and 24. According to police, the activists threw paint on the Chase bank building on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Meanwhile, Occupy Atlanta claims the arrests will not stop the movement from fighting against corporate greed.
