STX Group, a South Korean shipping and shipbuilding conglomerate, said Monday that its Chinese unit has won a US$240 million deal to build 8 container vessels. Under the deal with SEACON of Singapore, STX Dalian Shipbuilding will deliver the vessels starting from April, 2013, the group said.
