South Korea’s foreign credit and external debt have both been on the rise this year. The Bank of Korea says the nation’s foreign credit posted 487.4 billion dollars in late June, 18.6 billion more from late March. External debt also grew 15.4 billion dollars during the same period to 398 billion. Of the debt total, long-term debt edged up to over 248 billion dollars and short-term debt to just under 150 billion, South Korea’s (KBS World Radio) reported Tuesday.
